Privacy policy

1. Who we are

SparesHub is run by TODO: business name, TODO: registered address, city, pin. We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the “data fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, mobile number, delivery address, pin code, and email if you share it.
• Order details: what you bought, the amount, and whether payment succeeded. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay; we never receive them.
• Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, email or phone, including unboxing videos for a claim.
• Technical data: basic information our hosting provider logs automatically, such as your browser type and IP address, to keep the website secure.
• Your cart: saved only on your own device (in your browser's storage) so it's still there when you come back.

We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you; it only tells us which pages are popular, so we can improve the store.

3. Why we use it

• To process, pack, test and deliver your order, and send you the test video and tracking updates.
• To answer your questions and handle replacements, refunds and complaints.
• To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
• To keep the records that tax and consumer laws require.
• To tell you about new products or offers, but only if you agree. You can stop these messages any time by replying STOP or telling us.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each partner needs to do their job:

• Razorpay, to process online payments.
• Shiprocket and its courier partners, to deliver your parcel (name, phone, address).
• WhatsApp (Meta), when we message you there.
• Our hosting and email providers, who store data on our behalf.
• Government or law enforcement, only when the law requires it.

We never sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (up to 8 years), and other data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

6. How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to order data is limited to people who need it, and payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct, complete or update it;
• ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
• withdraw any consent you gave, such as for offers;
• nominate someone to act for you; and
• complain to our grievance officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you're not satisfied.

To use any of these rights, contact our grievance officer below. We reply within 48 hours.

8. Children

Our website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please buy with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect data from children without that consent.
